Preferred Automotive Group Community Involvement
On Thursday night, December 17th, Santa's helper decorated a Preferred Auto truck and he used it to participate in "Love Light, Shine Bright" at Lutheran Children's Hospital. Love Light, Shine Bright is an exchange of vehicle and flashlight beams between community members in their vehicles and patients inside Lutheran Children's Hospital. The children were able to interact with the Fort Wayne Police Department, Fort Wayne Fire Department, and of course, Santa. In association with The Greater Good of Fort Wayne, Mad Anthony's Children's Hope House, and Lutheran Children's Hospital.
We held our annual Christmas Tree giveaway on December 6th, 2020.
Preferred Automotive Group donates annually to Camp Watcha-Wanna-Do, a summer camp for children who are battling cancer. In 2018 we were pleased to raise $13,123 to help send kids to a week of camp, free of charge to their families.
Preferred Automotive Group is proud to announce that they donated $562 to the Pink Badge Campaign. The Fort Wayne Police Department and the Vera Bradley Foundation, along with a handful of local businesses raised money in the month of October for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. Preferred Automotive president Jay Leonard is pictured with Michael Joyner of the Fort Wayne Police Department. Michael Joyner accepted the check on behalf of the FWPD. Preferred Automotive Group is in their second year of sponsoring this fantastic program and hope to help raise thousands more in the years to come.
